Specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organization: a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and b) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

MIL-STD 883/5011

Establishes uniform methods, controls, and procedures for testing microelectronic devices suitable for use within military and aerospace electronic systems, including basic environmental tests to determine resistance to deleterious effects of natural elements and conditions surrounding military and space operations; mechanical and electrical tests; workmanship and training procedures; and such other controls and constraints as having been deemed necessary to ensure a consistent level of quality and reliability suitable to the intended applications of those devices. This standard is intended to apply only to microelectronic devices.

RoHS Compliant

The substances banned under the RoHS Directives are lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (CrVI), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE), and four different phthalates (DEHP, BBP, BBP, DIBP).
